Great News

I'm originally from Seattle, so you know I'm a big fan of a fine cup of coffee. And then I read this BBC headline: Daily Caffeine Protects Brain. Oh good, if I keep up the coffee intake, I may overcome the risk of losing my marbles. Thank God, who causes all things to work together for my good, even a cup of joe. ;)

Oh you Seattlites and your coffee! That's OK, I had coffee today too. I lived in Seattle for a year and a half and personally witnessed, many times, Washingtonians burst a fuse when sighting a Starbucks while in another state. Oh, the times we had!
Well anyways, for introductions, my name is Eric from Alaska. You were the first on the list of people I saw who liked Jason Upton too!
You also have some mentions about communism and the like. I just put up my first blog today for an English class and my first subject is about socialism in America. I would be delighted if you would comment on it and perhaps converse with me about other things like the Kingdom!
Have you ever heard of Dennis Peacocke or Christ Church Kirkland?

Hi Eric, welcome to the blog! Yes, I'm interested in post-communist societies (Central-Eastern Europe and Russia).

I have to say I'm not really an expert on socialism in America. Nor do I really subscribe to any man-made ideology. I follow Jesus. Jesus was neither socialist nor capitalist. So that's my starting point too. :)

In any case, I'd be happy to check out your blog.

No, I hadn't heard of those people (Last time I lived in Seattle was 1999). I googled them. Interesting...

See, I KNEW my double-shot skinny lattes were good for something! I always thought that something that tastes that good has to have some pretty major health benefits.

They are yet to study jam donuts, however. I'm sure when they do they'll find something special. :-D

Lol! My other weakness is ice cream. Good source of calcium, or something like that... :P
